  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Valspar "Spot"

Really nice. One comment, the voice over was a bit jarring to me. I'm sure that that was the creatives' choice, not yours, but with the grace and delicacy of the imagery, I expected to hear a more graceful voice and delivery on the VO. More specifically, a more graceful female voice is what my brain was expecting. Just my reaction. Really great photography, though.

Looks like someone knows how to set exposure correctly... :-)

...:) with RED, you simply expose by FEELING!

Technically I mix and match:
calibrate the monitor, check false color (no raw meter at the time), look at the histogram, use a light meter
(stop or so under (at the time)...whatevs...I'm iN!

how much is cgi?

The first shot is sort of cg, it reveals over a real element. The next four shots are all in camera. Then the last two are composites with real elements...for instance I shot real rocks on table top with a jib arm coming up over the top as the Art Director lowered them into the paint and they added ripples in post.

:sarcasm:
