Hi all

Please take a look at the video and photos I shot for the portuguese company Vista Alegre Atlantis 2013-2014 catalog (on paper and online).
This is the long version, and we also did 4 20 second commercials for television.

You can check the photos here:

If you want you can download the UHD version from the Vimeo video page.

This was the second year we did this catalog with the Epic.

Here are the videos for the 2012 catalog, that were shot at 2K (for high speed):

And the photos:

On both years I was the cinematographer, editor and did the post-production (videos and photos).

We used mostly Canon L zoom lenses (16-35, 24-70, 70-200)

Software used : Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Davinci Resolve Lite

UPDATE (05-02-2014)

Watch here the smaller TVC versions:

Hope you enjoy it.

Nice work, visually stunning :)

Thanks Eric and Karim

Karim:
I leave you here the settings I used in Adobe Media Encoder to get the mp4 UHD file I uploaded to Vimeo (and to Youtube).

UHD Export Settings.JPG
The resulting file was 2.77GB and after uploading, Vimeo warned me the resolution and bitrate was too high.
Even so, it accepted the file and made all the conversions for smaller resolutions.
You can download the original file in UHD from the Vimeo video page (there is a button for that under the description).

wow, so helpful, so generous. Thanks Miguel for your work.

Thanks Will, Jagger and Joseph

Joseph:
The strongest lights I used were HMI´s (12K and 6K) and Maxi-Brutes (most of the time through silks and diffusion frames).
I had to have a comfortable light level to allow me the fast shutter I needed for the dancers still photos (usually 1/500 with the camera rated at 400ASA and a stop between 2.8 and 4)

You can see some lights on the video in the background or can check a small Making Of here:
