  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

V-mount vs. V-mount for red

one and the same

So the Hypercore RED are made for RED. They will still work with all other V-Mount power solutions, but these give the battery percentage to the camera. Instead of DC Volts. Personally they charge a lot more for this feature, but if you know the voltages then you should be fine (eg, 16V =full and around 12.5V is time to change the battery)

Hello, the MSRP is the same price whether it is standard V-Mount or V-Mount for RED. There is no additional charge for the RED feature.

Best,

Blueshape batteries will give you a percentage readout on RED if you're using one of the modules that supports that. And Blueshape is about to release the new minis!

Blueshape has been great for me, lightweight and great life. The Anton Bauer CINE 150 VM Battery has been even better for non gimbal work and the life is about 1.5-2 hours
