Hello..

Anyone can recommend v mount bateries that are 3rd party but good quality?
Decent budget please.. not all red users are outside the 99% and have a prawn sandwich at the tea party :p

Bought 3 of them a year ago. No issues. Same (!!) unit as several "other" resellers but cheaper, w/less purchase and shipping hassles (as in: NO hassles!)
Note the FREE stuff:
-chargers (yep one for each -simple bricks but work great)
-shipping!

150wt is within Air Travel power limits on Li-Ion batteries, and I can run on 3 all day (Scarlet and PIX recorder together)
The few questions I had after purchase were responded to within a day. Not bad from China!

BTW archives here have numerous threads on Battery/brick options. Very well-discussed piece of kit.

best of Luck

little advice, you can only wire to them (they're totally reliable) but it will cost to wire ($50 in my case). Also shipping can be a little pricey but all together you end up saving a good amount over the non-Chines ones. I also recommend their mini-charger, cheap way to charge your batteries and have multiple ones running at the same time. Good luck!

I wrote of my ultimately very satisfactory experience with Hire Gun Video. I think a US seller offering a one year warranty, convenient payment options, free shipping, and a 150 wH RED-specific battery that transmits smart data at a very reasonable price is an excellent combination. Highly recommended. The only down side is it looks like he's currently out of stock, but a quick email should ascertain when he expects to have more.

hi pouya.. what do you mean by wiring them? does a red battery belt work as 'being wired'?
thanks so much for sharing these tips..
