V-Lock Back Plate with POWER PASS THROUGH

Has anyone heard anything about Red developing a v-lock plate that passes power directly to the camera through the module assembly, rather than through the Lemo power cable? Seem like an obvious one but there don't appear to be any rumblings on this... Thanks!

There was talk a while back about this; then this appeared at NAB:
