offline editing a feature in FCP 6.0.4 with F proxies, going to online color and finish with Da Vinci and Smoke. When I open the FCP project, there are three proxies that "seem" to have issues with linking to their master R3D files. I get a dialog "searching for movie data in file...", etc. Two of the proxies appear to re-link and one just keeps looking repeatedly so I cancel to get the project open. All three proxies play fine in the project so far.
This happens with all three proxies every time I open the project.

Is there a utility that I can use to re-generate / re-make proxies from the R3D? Interesting note is that none of the folders have magazine profile files.

Thanks!

REDrushes and ClipFinder?

REDalert will create new quicktimes of the R3D file, with the same filename, and the same location.

In REDalert: File -> Make New Quicktimes.

Also, you kept the proxy files in the same folder as the original r3d files, right? If not, then they don't work. . . they're not 'Self-Contained' movie files, they're simply POINTER files that link back to the R3D for playback.
