We want to use the intervelometer on a shoot next week. We want to shoot 1 frame every second, during a test shoot we set the intervals to be 1 frame every one second. The camera recorded 1 frame altogether nothing else. Is there a way or a setting to make the interval recording work?
Thanks.

I don't have my camera here, so this is from memory and some of the names might be wrong, but there is a function in the "Timelapse" menu that lets you select either "One frame" or "Trigger mode/multiple frames/words to that effect".
I think it's the first option in the Timelapse menu, so when you enter just rotate the joystick left/right and it should switch between the two modes.

Time LAPSE at 1 sec.

Time LAPSE at 1 sec.

There are two ways to do this -

First is to use VARISPEED, and set the frame rate to 1 fps.

Second is to use TIMELAPSE. Check the ENABLE box and set the TRIGGER MODE to INTERVAL, and then set INTERVAL to 1 sec.

The step print value says how many time each image captured will be recorded, normally is set to 1.

The Press the RECORD button to start, and RECORD button to stop again.

If you are use GPI as the trigger for the record, use the upper GPIO connector.

It took me a while to figure this out.
when you first go into the timelapse menu and check the enable box, look at the far right of the screen and you'll see TRIGGER MODE. ROTATE the joystick to go from ONE SHOT to INTERVAL.
That should do it.

Shane.

Stuart we did just what you wrote in the time laps menu option and got the result I described above. Though we did not look at the step print value will try it again and will also try it with the vary speed option.
One thing I noticed though was that in the interval recording mode pressing start on the front button started recording but it would not stop after pressing the same button. The camera stopped recording only after pressing the rear end button, no big deal but thought I'd mention it.
Thanks for the reply guys.
