USing the "denies" and "sharpening" settings

Does anybody else have problems getting the "sharpening" and "Denoise" functions to work in RedCine X? For me, especially "sharpening" I can see the changes applied in window but exporting or snapshots the changes are never applied. What could I be doing wrong?

if your using a Rocket - those are not enabled

for sharpening - use the post effects "Unsharp Mask' tool set (in the Post-Looks-Effects -> tab)

Sorry for the typos Clark. New Mac is changing my spelling on the fly. Of course I mean "Denoise."

I am not using Rocket and have been working with the Unsharp mask for sometime. I can see the changes being applied but these changes are gone once I export. The Denoise feature has never really worked for me. I suppose I am spoiled by LightRoom with its interface.

The Denoise is only for chroma noise.

Hey Joe,

What version of RCX are you using, and what are your export and snapshot settings? Are you using a full debayer?

Just tested with this the latest 17.3 RCX on RED.com and it worked fine.

What resolution are you watching your sharpening in rcx? Always use full res when applying the sharpening.
