Did somebody ever try to remove the Battery Holder of the R1 Cradle and mount it at the back of the Epic?
I am looking for an option to have the Battery mounted directly to the Camera rather than always using the Belt Clip.
Or could the Belt clip be converted to be used on the camera perhaps via the same holder, which holds the Quad Battery ?
Somebody wants to buy my Cradle, I would not sell it, if I could use the the top part, which holds the battery.

your power cable will not be wired properly from r1 cradle to Epic..
you'd need a properly wired short cable with a female 6 pin lemo to 4 pin male lemo
might not save you anything, as Anton Bauer and others make a ready to go battery holder/plate for Red Epic/Scarlett, and your weight savings, mounting points, and a cable that won't get in your way already come with it..

Christopher,
I have the Lemo plug, no problem about that. I am just concerned about the mounting.
I don't think, Anton Bauer makes a holder which fits the RED Bricks?
I have 2 Bricks+Charger. I want to use them.
