I few days ago I was working with the Red doing tons of hand held work. We were working with 3 month to 2 year old babies/tots and rolled when ever things were happening. We decided to use drives, and not cards, as well as an AC power supply. This led to the power supply having to be attached to the camera so the supply wouldn't bounce around, hitting the ground and such....

So it got me thinking....

Has anyone made / used a power supply extension?

It would go from the red connector end of supply. So red female to red male cable.

I was thinking about making one up, adding say 20 or so feet to the cable to avoid my above stated problem.

I was wondering if there will be too much voltage drop if a cable was made.

Thanks,

Caesar

PS: sorry for my english... I am a 37 year old who went to public schools.

I made a 10ft extension that has served me well for almost 1 year. No issue's in voltage.
