So I've been looking for a way to mount a camera strap to my scarlet-W and I haven't found anything that seems to be ready made. So I've come up with some ideas myself, using a 1/4 20 swivel hoist ring as a mounting point on the top of the camera and attaching a AR 15 style single point bungee sling to that. My biggest question is should I use one or two of these rings to disperse the load, my concern isn't so much for the hoist ring it's self as they have a very high load capacity, but more on the stress that it would put on a single mounting point on top of the camera. Another thing that I really like about the hoist ring is that It can be used to attach a hand strap to the side as well. Curious to hear if anyone has used this type of system or if anybody's got better ideas.
