Dear RedUser Admins,
I have just joined your forum, however I cannot edit my profile details or post a new post (for example in the market area).
Is there any chance that you can help me out with this?
I have already contacted admins via the contact form, but no luck...

Hey Marciej,

I'm sure a moderator can expand on this but as a new member, you are not given certain privileges. This is actually more to protect other new members like you.

For example, say you wanted to buy a Red Epic from a new member (with less then 10 posts). There is most likely chances that this person might be a scam artist. A scam artist might offer to sell you something like a camera. When you send money to them, they simply disappear. It's too easy for them. Whereas someone that post many discussions and actually sound like they know what they're talking about and/or are connected with some friends here have a better track record to being legit rather then a thief. Thieves won't put in the work because they need to get in and get out so they don't get caught.

This reason alone is the reason why a new member can't sell stuff in the market place (or possibly buy stuff either).

There are enough people here that have been scammed which is why these rules are in place. Many are fresh and starting out or new to international purchasing that they trust the seller (cause thieves will sound nice and say anything to get you to send money) until it's too late.

If you really get involved in the forums and community, it won't be long before you are able to buy/sell using this forum...still at your own risk.
