Getting rolling shutter problems from regular light. I tried 24fps 23.98 and 25 fps timebase. I'm in Egypt so the power is 220v.
Anyone knows what I can do?

You're in Egypt, so 220-240v and PAL land.
Try 25fps as your project setting, and 180 degree shutter.

Are you talking practical or tungsten lights? If you're using HMIs switch your ballasts to flicker-free.

Are you seeing the flicker on the footage when looking at it on computer? Ie you're sure it's in the footage and not an LCD or EVF issue?

Pete and Michael it´s right, 25 fps 1/50 it´s the right point to avoid flicker problems in any 50Hzs land.

Im totally lost here. What do you classify as "regular light"? daylight? Tungsten?

Neither should flicker at a base framerate of 25FPS

In 50Hz mains Egypt, if you're shooting at higher varispeeds than 25fps then only shoot speeds which are multiples of 25 at 180 degree shutter. If you aren't then you will have to try altering your shutter angle/speed/phase to minimise flicker or banding in footage.

Also, if you are shooting say above approximately 75 fps, then small tungsten fixtures (less than say 1kW) may fiicker due to low thermal inertia of small tungsten filaments which brighten and dim with the alternating AC current - larger lamps with bigger filaments don't dim as much when the mains current alternates through zero.

I got some good shots thanks to your advice. Will post some later on shot on red.
Again thanks
