Urgent: cellphone store in LA?

Does anyone know a good specialist store in LA (not Fry's or Best Buy) where I can grab an unlocked/international version cellphone this afternoon?

Don't know if this is any help but go to a gas station and buy one of the international pre-paid burner phones. Don't know of any specialty cell phone stores...

TRY TMOBILE. GET A GOOGLE PHONE UNLOCKED. CHEAP AND FAST PHONES. THEY ALSO ADDED THIS NEW INTERNATIONAL PLAN THAT THEORETICALLY IS PRETTY COOL.

If your talking major wireless providers then look for AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon. Those are the major 3.

Sorry slight misunderstanding. When say Samsung make a phone, they'll make a branded version for say Tmobile - and another generic international version, not branded for any one carrier. That's what I need. Lots of them on eBay, seeking a bricks & mortar store that sells them. I know a few in NY, none in LA...

You could try craigslist. There are people who run cell phone shops out of their garage.

Try downtown, I wish I could recommend a specific place but there are a bunch of places on broadway between 2nd and 8th. Best Buy used to carry the google nexus line which are unbranded/unlocked but they are terrible at keeping them in stock.
