After hours of trouble free shooting, all of a sudden the a mount battery shows no power at all. I've use five batteries over and over trouble free. Same batteries fully charged. Now no power reaches the camera. The red volts still work.
Is there a setting that could have changed redirecting power?
Or any suggestions, I'm working in shanghai and need help urgently.

Thanks. Joel.

did you do an update on your camera?

Sometime, when using my quad battery module, I had a similar issue on older firmware. It was solved when I put a revolt in the side handle.

No updates recently. In middle of shooting feature, worked a whole week without issues.
Haven't changed a single thing however my AC packed up and shutdown the camera. Started filming today and no power. Could my AC have changed anything?

Does it work with the ac-adapter? If yes, it might be a problem with your battery-plate and its cable, if not, then things got really worse.... I hope thats not the case.

Restore defaults if you think something could have been changed in the menu (although I suggest saving your presents first, restoring defaults, then reloading.)

Definitely try AC power to see if it's the camera's power socket (someone had theirs burn out on them recently due to a power surge, but the camera still operated via SH/REDvolt.)

Just to avoid confusion, you're using a v-mount/ab-mount plate and that's connecting to the camera's AC outlet for power, right? Like you're not using a Quad Module are you?

Factory default is the best way to go for now. If it still has the same issue use the AC adapter to see if it's the camera that has an issue or the battery plate.

Irrespective it might me the Leno connectors that are at fault as you can power up using REDVOLTS

You're right, it was the battery plate. Its the wooden camera one and I never liked the design where the cable is too close to the camera input. We were lucky after a three hour drive to find a RED one battery unit that we fixed to the sticks.

We worked in 41 C heat (with hot lights) with very humid conditions up to 17 hour days non stop and the scarlet just powered through.
even I blacked out once from heat exhaustion but not the cam.

Just love this camera!
