  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Uploading Video using Mountain Lion is much quicker!

I few days ago I was attempting to upload a 800MB file through my Safari browser to Vimeo. (link to video). It would either stall about half way, or take an 1.5 hours to upload. I then realized that you can upload directly to Vimeo from within the operating system. Whamo! It took only 30 minutes with no hiccups! Anyone else using a Mac use this feature?

It is a good feature. Browser-reliant uploading utilities or plug-ins have always had serious limitations in what they can do because they are obviously dependant on the browser's capabilities. I'm pretty sure something like this for videos will be on Linux soon.
