  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Unoffical post your film photography thread?

Thanks for the kind words. I will post some shots taken with 8x10 Ektachrome daylight shortly. I am really enjoying everyone's photography here. It's great to see another side of the creative eye.

I agree. Beautiful. And now these are all studio shots lit with custom built motorized strobe boxes taken with an 8x10 Deardorff with Rodenstock and Schneider glass on Ektachrome daylight. No Photoshop manipulation here. Everything done in camera and scanned from the original transparencies.

Very nice stuff, Richard.

Richard, those are fantastic.

Is that a bouquet of femur implants?

Philip, I would love to see a large print of your blades of grass with that pixelation effect on the top and bottom.

Not to derail the topic, but I'm trying to post some pics from Flickr, but I'm having a difficult time getting them to post. I assume you post the URL from the "grab link" option in Flickr then post that to the image icon but that's not working. Can somebody please provide some tips?

That 'grab link' option just results in a broken link for some reason. The way to get around it I've found is to go to the section of Flickr where you can see all the different images sizes and then right-click and View Image (on Firefox), this goes to a farm6.flickr.something-or-other address that you can then paste into the Insert Image dialog on Reduser.

Yes. Roberto, those are hip joint implants made by Zimmer, Inc., a former client. This image is from a series I did for a fine art show at The Focus Gallery in San Francisco.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I love making images.

I appreciate the glowing comments. I do love making images. I have just completed a short shot on our RED MX that we will be entering at festivals. When sound is done and I can I will post some images on Reduser. Thanks again.
