Hi There !

I know to use the cp -r command in the terminal. In some cases I need to write a script which does copy jobs. Writing a txt file and executing it via the source command. There was in a thread a copy command I don't remember where you can copy files to two destinations at the same time like R3D Data manager it does. Can somebody please help ???

thx a lot

I don't believe there is a way to use cp to copy to two destinations with one invocation, but you could use find to execute cp twice for each file?

There is a way to use stdin/out and tee but I that's a hack for copying files that I'd probably not recommend.

thanks guys for reply and tips... seems that the stable way is to copy one after one.... but if somebody has a hack for saving time would be fine... :)
