unedited opening sequence to short film

we just finished principal photography. this is the 3rd short i produced. it's been a long time coming to get things right, and i feel we finally did it this time. i'm really proud of this unedited (partially graded) opening sequence (there's a lot more coverage we'll edit into it). i'm so tired now, but we got everything.

it feels weird at the moment - there's nothing to do, no one's asking for things, there's nothing to fix and no problems to solve. suddenly everything has gone quiet. ahhhh.

Looks interesting. Think it might benefit from being on vimeo in HD though. Youtube makes the blacks look incredibly crushed.

Great shot! Love the stedicam work. Did you have access to a stedicam or did you have to pay top dollar? Just curious as I'm working on my own film right now. Great work!

thanks, julian! the stedicam guy is a friend of our soundguy and basically did us a huge favor on his rate. everyone was totally blown away with his skill handling the Red - you can see the camera is actually inverted in that picture! if you're in london, i can give you his contact details.
