  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

UNDEREXPOSING Red-One Footage, then raising it UP in RedCineX. ??

Remember you can get alot out of shutter speed
Going from 1/48 to 1/24 is 1 stop more...
same as 800 iso to 1600 iso....but no noise
(as long as there is not alot of fast movement)

That being said there is a fair bit of latitude with just raising the ISO as long as there are not a lot of shadowing in the shot....
But if you want to be technical...only aperture and shutter speed truly effect exposure to the sensor....the rest is post processing

also if you are shooting wildlife...and the subject is near the hyperfocal distance of the lens...you can open the lens right up.....everything will be in focus around your subject and beyond...
depends on the situation I guess
