Hello,

I am looking to buy some unbleached muslin for some DIY stuff. But I feel like there are different qualities, and feels to the unbleached muslin. Should I look for something in particular. I want to go into a cloth shop in Belgium and ask, but the people there sure will not know what is good for cinematography :)

Cheers

Muslin is basic cotton fabric. Go into the shops, buy some samples, and test them to see what works best for you.

Thanks, what is more standard. A thicker cloth, or something thinner where you can look through easy?

The appropriate thickness depends on what you need it for.
Muslin is inexpensive so you can easily get a few different types.

How much are you planning on buying?

Well I will be buying it for bouncing as well as diffusing. So something like 3 meters at 1,5meter. I am going to a cloth shop tomorrow.
