RavenEye connected in through WiFi, have blue LED on RavenEye, not green. When I try to initiate tracking in DJI app, I get this message: "Cable Disconnected. Track unable to control shutter when camera control cable is disconnected. Connect camera control cable to begin shooting". I know of no way to connect Komodo to the Camera Control Port (upper USB-C port on RS-2). Somebody on Komodo User Group said to just ignore that. I'm getting video feed from my BlackMagic SDI/HDMI mini converter, but no video feed in the DJI app with RavenEye connected. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong...

When I've messed up a little bit with RS2 and Sony A7R III - the Raven Eye was very sensitive to the cable. You have to use the exact cable for the connection, otherwise it's not going to work at all, or some functions are going to be limited. Try playing with cables - using different ones etc.

You have the camera connected to the raveneye's HDMI port and the raveneye connected from the USB port on the other side to the bottom USB port near the tilt motor with the wifi symbol? And the raveneye is definitely powered on and the wifi AP is showing up?

You don't need the camera connected to anything other than HDMI for tracking to work. When you swipe down on your RS2 internal LCD do you see an image from the camera?

I’m not sure what’s giving you the problem but I can say that I have the Komodo through a BM micro converter working with raveneye and the 3D focus module to drive a Cooke speed Panchro with autofocus and tracking on an RS2. I haven’t tested the accuracy of it yet and I wouldn’t consider it a substitute for a 1st AC but it’s up and running. Kind of amazing. Also BHphotovideo has canon bp955s in stock as of this morning.

Yes to all that. Tested converter...good. Tested HDMI cable...good. I’m beginning to think it’s a defective RavenEye module. WiFi settings say it’s connected...but DJI app says it’s not. Swiping down on RS2 internal LCD brought up camera image just once very briefly, but didn’t last long enough to do any tracking testing.

RAVENEYE: I've still been banging my head for hours over several days trying to get RavenEye to work on DJI RS2 with Komodo. It finally worked after I changed the Komodo's SDI settings from 1080p / 23.98 Hz to 1080p / 29.97 Hz. In my first test of the tracking feature, it was successfully following my face as I moved left and right, and then when I stood up it stopped working...lost picture in the interface. Haven't been able to get it back. I think that maybe RavenEye doesn't like the quality of HDMI signal it's receiving, but SDI/HDMI converter and cable test as good. WiFi settings says RavenEye is connected, yet the DJI app says RavenEye not connected. Anybody else running into this issue? Thoughts?

And you're using a SDI-12 from the camera?

UPDATE: Because the problem was so intermittent, it took many hours to determine that the problem was due to a faulty HDMI cable from DJI in the Pro Bundle. DJI sent me a replacement cable and apparently all is now well. I also just received the DJI Ronin 3D Focus System, and it works quite well! The main drawback is that the subject has to be in the center of the frame. It would be great if a firmware update would allow the focus target (which is locked to center) to be paired to the tracking window so that it follows tracking. I'm not a big fan of having my subject always being dead center...
