Unable to export any R3D file projects in premiere pro CC 2015

Hey everyone, so I'm new to Red and just got the epic and managed to do a test shoot the other day. All the files imported fine into premiere pro Cc 2015 on my 15 inch MacBook Pro (last years model)

however whenever I export, usually QuickTime, apple pro res 4444 at 4K HD, it always stops exporting after it tries to connect the next clip. Giving me the message "error compiling video", I tried just trying to export 1 clip and it worked perfectly.

does anybody know what's going on here?

Is is there a plug in I need to use or even a transcode, encode, convert etc to edit the clips easier?

Any help would be highly appreciated, one last thing, is there such thing as a media player I can download to play back these raw files?

Interesting bug maybe about the ProRes export. What resolution are you using? Any other settings would be useful.

There's a few players that can handle .R3D, but the easy one is the "RED PLAYER.exe" that comes with REDCINE-X PRO.

Standard 4K HD format 3840 x 2160
its pretty painful! I can't render anything mate, computer is quad core with 16gb ram, can't seem to work out why that would be

Try a different codec.
Alternatively, set Premiere project properties to 'software rendering' instead of GPU
