RED, along with the Guild of British Camera Technicians, is hosting a course for Camera Assistants and DITs next week in Ealing, West London.
Jeroen Hendricks will lead this one day hands on workshop centered around the on-set experience with EPIC.

Tuesday 22 January

Free for all GBCT Members; £50 + VAT for Non-Members
This one-day intensely practical course is aimed at camera assistants, DITs and data wranglers who need to get up to speed with Red user interfaces and Red products generally.
Taught by Jeroen Hendricks, this is a great opportunity to go through the intricacies of the RED DSMC (EPIC and SCARLET) interfaces, user settings and workflow in a measured way.
It's a chance to learn and absorb a huge amount of information in a non-threatening environment and discuss solutions to potential issues encountered on set.
There will also be opportunities to ask all those questions about post issues you've come across!
By the end of the day, you'll be more confident and knowledgeable for your next job and you will leave with access to online references that will help job your memory in the future.

Jeroen is a great guy, and one of the most knowledgeable people on the planet in terms of Red cameras and workflows. He was RED camera tech on Prometeus, Pirates of the carribean and spiderman among others.

Brian, thanks for helping to organise today. Jeroen was extremely knowledgeable and it was a great intro to the RED Epic and eco-system. It was great to meet you all and finally get my hands on the camera. All Jeroens tips and tricks will in no doubt be useful over the coming years and i'm glad i took copious amounts of notes!

Thanks again, Simon
:cheers2:
