  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

UK Government film shot on the Dragon

It doesn't do you credit to start talking about the lenses, still this is the first piece I have seen on the Otus, and I loved it.

I know it's a lot in the lighting, and grade, but the lenses shine, too.

Anyhow:
Great work, and a really nice use of a low con grade with lifted blacks.

Kudos!

Cheers Gunleik, it was such a simple setup wasn't much to put down :) I do love my milky blacks, hides a multitude of sins too.

That's some great work there, James! I really love the compositions, the natural lighting and the grading.

Regarding the lens choice: the bokeh of the Zeiss Otus primes is so incredibly smooth. It's quite impressive how Zeiss made some glass that is tack sharp and yet feels so organic. Thank you for making me want them... ;)
