  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Uk-based V-Mount plates solutions?

Have anyone thought about using a camera-setup with V-mount batteries on the back of a Module Adaptor on which the lcd is attatched, with a handle attatched to the fron of the brain?

The module adapter doesn't accept V-mount batteris without an additional battery plate though does it? So you'd need a module adapter PLUS back for it plus a battery plate wouldn't you?

Our (UK) Scarlet ... We already had a red battery plate, orderded the lead to convert it from RED UK - and then used cinema-oxides battery plate. This is the cheapest way of using exisiting equipment. Main downside is a lot longer cable but cinema-oxide can do a retro-fit of the cable without extension. Other benefit is - that you can use the CO plate to mount the monitor. We need a riser for the red handle which is too close to the lens.

EPIC-X here in the next few days too
