maybe this should be in workflow.. but any ideas on this one?

I open up red cine.. load my shots.. and this is what i see..

the quicktim wrappers play normal. all my redcine settings are normal.. but this shows up as my files.. any ideas?

well it doesnt matter.. everything on the drive shows up like that in red cine.. works in red alert..

but this particular clip is a guy

update: when i move the curve, all of a sudden the clip shows up normal..
but i have to do this to each individual clip in order to see it.. anyone seen this before/ have a fix?

Have you tried deleting the Redcine folder?

Sometimes my clips are all black in Redcine, until I touch any "color" setting. Then they change back to normal. Seems to be a nasty and very persistent bug.

not a camera settings issue.

clips open fine in red alert.
quicktime wrappers play.

its 100% a redcine issue

I've had that happen too - freaked me out, but footy was OK. You can batch paste a RC color setting onto everything and it comes back.

i was going to say uninstall redcine...have you tried opening up any other footage besides those clips?

Actually if its similar to the black frame issue that happens occasionally in REDCINE then reseting the look settings in camera will fix it.

It is a camera/redcine issue.

Reset look settings in camera to default factory settings and your next mag will be fine when viewed in Redcine.

It's some kind of metadata bug that only affects redcine but not red alert.
