  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

UFO over DENVER !!

wish I had time for UFO chasing. maybe next week, when the schedule clears a bit....a little 5K overcranked is what we need. EPIC is perfect for alien chasing.

someone should tell the aliens that there are more appealing places to hang in CO than 84th and federal. blech.

Doesn't Colorado have legalized marijuana? Could explain why only a few are seeing the UFOs. Washington will probably have an outbreak of sightings in a few months.

That was sooooooooo fresh! I bet they will wake up with sore butts to, huh? :banghead:

Thats it! I have to come out to the west-coast Tim! We will fire up an army of REDs and any damn UFO that thinks about winking in to our airspace wont have a chance in hell! ;)

P.S. I will try and persuade Doug Trumbull into joining us :)

Seriously though, I could not imagine having a Red Epic Dragon shooting 12,000 ISO 120fps at 5K with a 500mm Canon L glass and put a night vision scope on top of all that. Seriously, we could make some SERIOUS breakthroughs in terms of studying these objects.

Tim,

At the living laboratory we were studying we had simmilar light spheres all the time. The best photographic evidence we could ever get was with our DSLR (before video mode existed) and here is one of the pictures my brother snapped from an observation tower we built. This object appeared above the tree line maybe 1,500 feet from where we were stationed. Mind you these objects often hover close to the ground (and in the early 20th century were often confused with lanterns...farmers would ride toward them with gun in hand thinking a tresspasser was stealing!), interact with people/ animals, and occasionally knock out all of our electric power when present (thats always fun!). I can only IMAGINE what results we could have had with a RED shooting 5K 120fps. DAMN

This is great stuff Steve, I was not familiar with this one. All I can say is that I have been fairly skeptical until I reluctantly visited the ECETI ranch near Mt Adams, WA 2 summers ago where ironically a sighting from a pilot coined the term "Flying Saucers" when he saw 9 metallic looking discs back in the 1950'

But I witnessed first hand and captured these images of the legendary "Mt Adam Lights" (Yakima indians reported them first over 120 years ago) unfortunately on my crappy iPhone

I wiggled in the second one where a 2nd light appeared above the first. Some geologists think its Piezo electricity caused by volcanic activity deep underground
others think its inter dimensional space ships... all I know is that it gave me a chill and there were over 20 people there who saw it and were like "ooooh"

14 miles away - above the tree line, which would make it roughly the size of a city block. winked on for 2-3 minutes and was as bright as an arc welder.
Again not saying it was aliens but it was definitely cool and a weird phenomenon...

as for the video in OP. no way it was a fucking bug... but bottom line is that if there IS a govt cover up. its because of some of the comments on here.. people don't want their reality disrupted ts way easier to dismiss things like what you posted as a "bug" or balloon .:001_rolleyes:

EDIT: We drove to within 1 mile the next day and the spot where these lights occurred were just barren brown rock. I have been wanting to go back with a bunch of Red EPIC owners ever since... Im not going to post what we saw in the sky all night long... because it was even crazier... my GF is a regular on MUFON and obsessed with this stuff... all I know is there are no craft on earth that do what we saw and filmed that night... the only thing i struggle with is all the wackos who show up there with tin foil hats... usually crazy lonely cat ladies. :)

A friend of mine was working in that neighborhood the other day. At one point, he felt ill and disoriented, then realized he couldn't account for his whereabouts over the previous two hours. He also complained of massive rectal pain and was blaming it on a hemorrhoid flare-up until I directed him to this thread...

I'm tempted to go hunt these UFOs down myself. But I figure there are two possible outcomes. One -- it will turn out to be a bug, as it sure looks like to me. In fact, it looks like a poorly speed-altered video of a common insect, so I think I'll just be wasting my time. Two -- I will be captured by aliens, who will no doubt commandeer my EPIC and whatever giant lens I have on it so they can probe me with it. Neither scenario is very appealing to me.

I can only imagine how wild the post-UFO-sighting sex must be for you two. '-)

Meryem, Adam and I will go with you to shoot some footage - same with you Jeff, I'll go with you to check it out. Could be a bug, but with it happening in same spot around same time and that quick it very well could be something else but that is definitely a weird thing that happened to your friend.

I'm in Littleton Jeff, so not too far from you.

my first open day for alien chasing will be Tuesday of next week, Mike....if someone can convey that to the aliens and encourage them to stick around until then, then we should take out my EPIC for a spin and give it a whack....nothing I like more than some pre-Thanksgiving alien investigating.

Are Scarlet shooters invited too, or is 120fps 1k ws not enough resolution for the aliens deliverable?

I would join you guys, but the commute time might be an issue. Unless of course I can convince the aliens to give me a lift. In the video it looks like I would get there in no time based on how fast these guys fly.

The friend thing was a joke, just in case a few people didn't catch that.

For those of you that are local, I might be able to sneak away on tuesday like Meryem. PM me if interested, I think any public discussion of this matter could tip off the aliens anyway.

I don't think the issue is "120 fps 1k ws" - I think the bigger challenge is "Stamford, CT" :yesnod:

If we actually get to experience a sighting, it will be my second. I saw a UFO during a trip to Lake Powell in the late 80s. Would be nice to get something recorded this time.

I think the hoaxes have really hurt the UFO phenomena. Every story you read, even this one admittedly, automatically brings a response of hoax. And it might be possible that there has never been an actual alien spacecraft spotted but merely just hoaxes, optical illusions, misidentified objects, other space phenomena, etc. It's possible that if there are visitations, they may be done in ways we can't even imagine, perhaps breaking all the rules of science as we know it. So, I've always remained openminded about this. There is nothing that has ever been shown with 100% certainty that our planet is being visited by others. But there have been some interesting cases. The hoaxes in particular create a lot of noise and ridicule and it's unfortunate because it should be a part of science taken very seriously because obviously the implications are huge if it ever presents itself.

Its worth keeping in mind that UFO is defined as 'Unidentified Flying Object' not the 'Aliens are here" as is often implied. There is a strong cultural norm to ridicule anyone who spots a UFO without any further investigation.

its pure arrogance to imagine that planet earth is the only inhabited planet in the millions of galaxies that exist within our universe. But then again, given that within our species we argue that our sporting team or sporting code is the only one worth considering, that sort of arrogance is to be expected.

Have fun in Denver!

And what is out there will most likely blow our minds if/when we come in contact. Don't have to look much further than the deep depths of our oceans and the many surprises that brought to us and continues to bring to us.

I suppose part of the resistance to the idea that other life is out there stems from the strong ties to religion. Some have a hard time going there because it calls into question many things about faith and religion. In my mind though, if you stay openminded about all of it the possibilities are endless. We know so much, yet so little. Kind of how I feel about myself as a filmmaker sometimes. :-)

its actually Billions of Galaxies :) and I agree but the sheer number of videos being posted due to camera phones is not a coincidence but my theory is that if we did have visitors they would be so far advanced that we could not communicate with them... and our view of the full light spectrum is extremely limited... the same goes with audio... most of these things are spotted with no sound but that doesn't mean they arent making any...

this is another fascinating documentary of events... similar to the one Steve Sherrick posted ... I for one, love this stuff... and definitely keep an open mind, but this is something else.

Id love to get a hold of the motion footage! I love how it starts out very easy to dismiss then gets more and more compelling with the introduction of more and more evidence...
