  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Short looks great. Like the grade you've done and whoever does your typography certainly has an eye for it, it's crazy how the fine touches improve the overall aesthetic.

Out of interest are you going to be sending the short to any UK film festivals? One other question, is there any reason why you didn't use hispanic actors? I'm guesing English speaking actors would generate more interest in the film but for whatever reason something in me would have liked to seen them talking spanish as in your other shorts if memory serves correctly, which it so often doesn't these days! :)

Hi Paul. IF you click on the spanish version of the website you´ll have access to the film in spanish, so you can listen to them talking in spanish as you wanted. ;D
 
Yup, looks great and it makes me feel sufficiently oogie. There is lots of breathing room in the cut for me to squirm and think about what they're thinking. It's well put together.

Engagement is an obvious pick, but the new title confounds me. I don't even know how to say it so that I might recommend it to others. I could take a stab at it, and may even be right, but I'll just get quizzical looks in return that I can't answer. That'll make me feel more stupid than asking you so here goes... Is it a pneumonic? What does it mean and how should I say it?

I'm not a film marketing pro, but it seems common sense that a title like this is likely to put a serious damper on word of mouth. I'd be petrified of that.

The notion of sifting through 352 posts to find a simple answer
makes me think that your response is just as cryptic as the title. Oh well. Thanks anyway.
