It is a nifty trick!

As not engaging the limiter (assuming it doesn't peak) is going to be better than even the best limiter.

Before this only the Tascams and Zoom F series could do this dual track recording.

Won't be a feature I'll use on every shoot with the 833, but handy for critical & highly dynamic one off unrehearsed moments.

Yup! I got tagged/msged by a few people as soon as that became news.

Very happy that SD responded to the demand for the 833!! Disappointed they didn't just announce this the first time around though.
