Both RED MX's were sent this past month to RED for transfer of ownership and evaluation and any issues found were fixed by RED. I have not used either cameras since getting them back from RED so you would be getting them in excellent working condition.
For the first, the repair details on official RED repair report dated 3/22 are as follows:
The internal CPU board was replaced in order to address the booting issue. The side panel was replaced. Upon final diagnostic inspection/testing, the camera was determined to be within specification and no trouble issues were found. The camera was released to the customer.
For the second, the repair details on official RED repair report dated 3/22 are as follows:
The internal fan assembly was cleaned, the U/I LCD was replaced, and the side panel was also replaced. Upon final diagnostic inspection/testing, the camera was determined to be within specification and no trouble issues were found.
