I'm pretty sure they don't. I haven't found any App that charges you for using it each time.

the reason I asked is because some were it says that it will charge 10 to 15c per text, didn't even remember were I read about this, but if you guys say there is o charge then good, I already have downloaded the app on my iPhone.

No charge if you use the iPhone app itself without the direct text messaging via SMS.
