Turn BombEVF heater off?

I just used my BombEVF for the first time yesterday and noticed that it got rather hot. There was talk about the BombEVF has a heater built in, but is there a way to turn it off when you don't need it? Or, is it so hot just because of the new smaller design?

Yep, mine is getting rather hot too.

Nothing? Mine is getting so hot that if I keep my fingers on it for more than a second, I would get burned. Not exactly a good thing considering how often you grab an EVF to move it.

How long does it take for it to get that hot?
Mines been on for a couple of hours now.. warmish, but not hot.
Maybe its a RED call you have to make in the background. or Im sure they are reading this anyway.
