Just finished watching Season 1 and half way into season 2. I have to admit, I haven't watched TV in a while (besides Lost), but this show is made of win and has me addicted to V. Sookie Stackhouse is a babe. I love HBO for this. Television isn't dead.

Anyone else into it?

Man that show is so addictive. Season 2 starts a little slow but goes off the rails in no time (in a good way). Can't wait to see where it heads in season 3.

Seriously, True Blood and East Bound and Down are really ballsy shows for HBO to put on the air and they are both great in totally different ways! I used to really enjoy Entourage too but this season has been totally uneventful.

Television isn't dead.

For me it is more than alive. Best narrative pieces of the last years are those i watched on tv: Six feet under, Sopranos, Carnivale, Fringe, The wire, Weeds (Except last season).
One thing i'm noticing, i prefer when i can run a screening marathon of the serie (dvd), then i'm into the long arch, weekly episodes are not the same.
True blood i didnt go after the second episode, will try again due to the respect to the creator, Everyone's waiting end is legendary.

I hear you. First 8 episodes are lame but seems to me that with the new conflict between Ari and Lloyd, Drama due for Melrose place and Ashley finally disappearing the show will come back to its original energy. Imo Entourage camera work is amazing, love the fastness

I hear you but isn't the season almost over now? Overall a very lackluster season IMO. I think they could have done so much more. I know they decided to concentrate on some of the supporting cast ie, turtle, drama and erik this season but honestly it just wasn't very eventful. If we would have seen Vince working on Martin Scorceses set perhaps while all this was happening in the background that might have been different. So many ways in which i feel they could take the story but instead decided to just flatten out on us.

Aghh! I was thinking to a 24 eps season...
If so i do agree with you, a low season as last Weeds.
I'll point my attention to Flashforward. See you all at Red Panda.

Check out Breaking Bad on AMC...best show on TV

Loving True Blood also! Beautifully shot, sensual series.

I'm watching Battlestar Galactica (the whole frakkin' series!) since I missed it on TV. Wow, this series is just stunning in both execution and storyline. And I recognise the Cooke lens look, at least in the first two seasons. Looks like seasons 3 and 4 moved to some other lens brand. Zeiss perhaps?

Small word of advice. Quit after the first episode of the second half of the last season.

You'll thank me 11 episodes later.

Just started watching Season 2...totally addicted to it....
