  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I have som clips shot in 4K 16:9 B20.1.3 that I want to edit using the proxies, now I want to make some changes in RA before using them in FCP.

When I select "Make Quicktime Proxies" nothing happens, and when I try to import the same clips to Redcine X I get "Failed to open file" on all the R3D made on this shoot.

The original set of proxies play great (but I threw some away), and the whole thing opens perfectly in REDCINE.

I am using RED ALert v21.0 and REDCINE X build 44.

Anyone got a clue?

(Other footage opens fine, I obviously haven´t tested evertything....)

Thanks for the suggestions, didn´t work.
I found out that this has something to do with permissions... tried repairing them, but no luck.

The workaround for me is to move the files to the root directory of the disk, recreate quicktimes and then move them back...
