Troubled mac

Hi all,

I am experiencing many troubles with my mac this last days I will list them maybe someone with more experience and knowledge can sort it out before I reinstall everything.

1. compressor settings do not appear.
2. L&T get stuck when adding a RED directory.
3. Redrushes does not render anything. It recognizes 1 frame but does not render. No matter the name or location of the directory.
4. Safari crashes when ever I attach a file in g-mail.

I would run the drive fix in the disk utility first, then the privilege fix.
Some of your system resources might be broken then you should archive your accounts then install a new system. 1TB drives are dead cheap nowadays, if you're scared of loosing something, then install a new drive in your Mac pro, set up a new system, then switch back and forth for awhile. I have more than few systems in my Mac Pros in case I have to give up on one because of newly installed software.
