hey yall
i am using rcx506, epic, and SoundDevice CL-8
i have imported my clips and followed what seems to be the correct method of using the auto-match feature in the audio menu.
when i open the audio tool the slate spike is a bit off from the vertical grey line (which shows my position in the video clip in the viewer-i am viewing the slate clap frame).
i cannot figure out how to move the spike to the grey line so that the audio and video are synched. i have moved the scrubber to the audio spike's position and have then entered the scrubber position number into the slate number field but then the slate spike slides seemingly arbitrarily away from the grey vertical line.
what am i doing wrong? is there a way to manually set these since the auto-match isnt working? my manual method clearly isnt working either.
i have jam synched all my devices (slate, SoundDevice, Epic) but to no avail. i have to be able to have this work for our prelight tomorrow. id like to avoid rolling sound directly into the camera.
