Trouble installing "RED Log and Transfer FCP Plugin"

Hi,

I'm trying to install the "RED Log and Transfer Plugin" but I can't get it to install at all. Every time, I get a "Install failed" error message which says :

"The following install step failed : run preflight script for RED FCP Plugin. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."

I do have the good version of FCP (6.0.4) and I did install the QT Codec. The downloaded package works fine since we were able to install it on another workstation.


Anyone has any idea ?

i'm having the same problem - were you able to solve the issue?

Number Of CPUs: 2
L2 Cache (per CPU): 1 MB
Memory: 6 GB
Bus Speed: 1.15 GHz

AFAIK it needs an Intel CPU.

You need an intel-mac to use it.
BUT I|ve seen this on some Intels, too.
It did not install on OSX server, and repairing permissions fixed it on the others.
