  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Tripod suggestions, can't decide

Just to expand on what Gibby said about the ET dovetail plate... ET has improved the locking mechanism and has added more threaded holes on the plate for easier connection to more tripod systems. The only catch is the plates are on back-order right now, they should have more in a couple weeks.

...That's the 2060 / 2575 dovetail plate I'm talking about. The smaller 1030 plates are available now and will work with the miller. But I went with the 2060 plate -- does what I need on the Miller head and then I have the option of dropping it onto the larger O'Connor heads in place of their euro-plate when I need to rent the larger tripod for larger loads.
 
Speaking about plates... the only drawback? that I had about the Delta was that it had that squarish quick release and not one of those sliding plates. Pros and cons anyone?
