Trigger external recorder with red

Anyway to trigger an external record with sdi or hdmi or anything? I do it currently with ny gh4-pixe5h looking for something slick for mounting to camera ect

Many of them will take a record signal from the SDI port, but I'm curious as to why you need this?

Ouf ot the SDI the image is half debayer, its full debayer if you record to prores or dnx internally.

The PIX 240 takes the SDI trigger from RED and other cameras

mine is the pixe5h, just a back up incase a card corrupts or anything like that, I am running on the wild side with only one mini mag right now
