  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

TrekPak Divider System

Have been a LONG time user of Trekpak & happily one of many of their initial Kickstarter supporters.
I will NEVER go back to velcro, pick n pluck or laser cut. My gear just changes too much from job to job to lock myself in to one permanent layout.

The first pic is of the thicker pre production 'Industrial' series coming soon. The final version will have a fabric covering and has longer thicker pins, bigger pull tabs and let me tell you.. NOTHING moves.

Jason, do you have any idea when the "industrial" version of TrekPak will be available for ordering? I have five 1510's (I use them for everything), hate pick-n-pluck, and this seems like the perfect solution.

oooo i'm glad I havent pulled the trigger yet, this looks like the perfect solution for my 1510. I definitely want the industrial version... +1 for the ETA... would love to grab this sooner than later.

DAM! I just pull the trigger on the 1510 inserts 2 days ago - So no Industrial version for me or even using the 10% discount :emote_hanged:

Yes, I would like to know when the INDUSTRIAL version is coming out.

If your thinking of ordering use code 'wingrove6814' for 10% off anything at www.trekpak.com

Clearly NOONE listens to the podcast where ive mentioned this many times :-)

Jason

I actually had that code quickly typed in a .txt file on my desktop for the last couple of weeks as a reminder while hearing it on the podcast but a few days down the line couldn't remember for the life of me which company/product it was actually for :)

Great find. +3

Bookmarked.

Contacted TrekPak, they wrote concerning the Industrial Version:

Thank you for the inquiry Paul. We are currently working on the Industrial line which is much thicker than our Performance line inserts. Unfortunately we do not have an ETA on release of the Industrial line at this time. For the Pelican 1510, the Industrial line will take up a lot of the available space.

I just ordered the standard version for the 1510. Thank you for the code, Jason! Seems like the bigger version would only really make sense for bigger cases, like the 1650.

Update: here is what he said regarding thickness and buying individual dividers.
The performance inserts are 3/8" thick and the Industrial line is 3/4" thick. With the perimeter and one divider, you would be losing 2.5" inches of space.

Regarding individual dividers, we are working on divider kits. These should be available later this spring.

Hey Tom, Dennys, Brad et al..

I think for the 1510's, 1500's etc the regular Trekpak is perfectly fine, the extra thickness of the industrial line will indeed eat too much into the smaller cases. So Id say be happy with the standard system for these smaller cases for sure!

thanks for the tips, I will go ahead with the regular 1510. Looks like a great system for quick swaps of assorted gear.

Copy that...I will order the regular inserts for the 1510's...thanks for your help!

These look great - I was about to order padded dividers for my 1600 monitor case...so glad that I checked in here first!

Just ordered for the 1510. Can't wait to get rid of this horrible Pick N Pluck that I didn't set up properly. Too much wasted space on this thing.

Got my 1510 last week, very pleased so far! I wish they offered individual dividers and the cutter tool thats been advertised for quite some time now as a lot of the dividers are just a little too long. Otherwise great system!

Just got my Pelican 1510 insert from TrekPak.

Jeff did you buy extra inserts to make the configuration you are showing on above. I got my 1510 insert KIT, but do not seem to be able to match your set-up - do not have enough long panels :001_smile:
