Happy day indeed

Boooo! (sarcasm)

Not sure if any of our shots made it iin, but if so it may be a first for a feature shot on red (partially).

Partially, as in barely? In that case 'Black Swan' was shot on a Canon 5D.

i have a feeling some of your Red shots made it in.

happy day, indeed!!!!!!

Interesting! Congrats guys. In looking at IMDB, I see that some of it was shot Panavision Super 70 ... pretty impressive that Red One MX cuts together seamlessly, though I'm sure not the first time. What I've seen from the HD preview looks beautiful and I'm eager to see the final film.

have you seen it?, do you know what we shot? where you involved. it seems from your post as if you were the editor.

btw, if scenes/shots made it in they were shot with the original red one #0031, not #0031x or #0031x MX or #0031x MX SSD.

this camera had no OLPF and was one of the first batch made...

im stoked for all involved....

Hard Work ...
btw pretty impressive this info...i liked to know that.
cheers

Black Swan was shot Super 16mm with 1 scene (when she rides the subway) shot on 7D.

Yes for some reason either they couldn't get permits or they didn't want to...they stole the Subway shots.
Actually they did the very same thing on Pi in 1998 on some subway shots. Although in that film it was for sure a budget reason and the whole
film was 16mm.
