hey guys...normally I am just a shooter, but I am taking the leap into shooting my first short...only five pages so no biggie, and since my Red isn't renting so much in Connecticut I thought what the hell! So...build 16 Canon K35 primes, no color correct as I just bumped saturation in FCP, straight from the log and transfer....

Great job, Adrian. This looks very film-like. It's funny, because if you wanted to shoot this on 35, it would have been much more expensive and complicated. You would have had to buy film stock, deal with labs and processing costs, scan it to digital, and on and on.

I think your saturation looked great for most of the piece, but on my monitor there were two or three cuts where the girl's skin tone looked too red. You could just pull down the reds on those shots.

Really a pleasure to watch. The girl is cute. :)

Very nice work... love that shot 12 seconds in where she turns and at 16 seconds where she is looking out that little spot where the sunlight is punching through. Those canon primes have a really nice feel to them.

lol. you say it's going to be a short... but that's probably one of the better music videos I've seen in a long time. i didn't drag the play bar to fast forward that I do for most videos.

i liked watching and listening to it. simple and sweet.

good job.

Great compositions, I loved it! This makes me happy.

I second them. A good relief for any 100% RED investor too. One of my favorite RED clips so far, red skin included (not so critical IMHO). Congrats Adrian! If you'll need an european co-producer or even associate producer (any country of EU), shoot! Overall impressed, at least.

where the girl's skin tone looked too red. You could just pull down the reds on those shots.

Funny I thought those shots looks very fashionable hahahaha (maybe pull it towards a little more pastel - a little softer in it's color)

Thanks for the kind words guys...gotta wait for to weeks for the next segment to shoot...but I need more color and less leaves on the trees anyway...no lighting here I just scouted for a few days (it's about an hour from where I live)...and Derbernd, yeah a little too up the nose, won't be using that one come the final edit!

Very nice. The handhelds are looking a bit strange though... maybe it's vimeo.
what's strange.. skew?..

where have you been brazuca?..
