  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Travelling to Auckland, NZ. Any rental recommendations.

Looking for a tripod for 3-4 days (prefer Vinten with Sony baseplate, but anything works). And maybe V-Lock batteries (approx. 2 x 160 WH) depends upon flight restriction.

And also to have a contact if our Epic does something unexpected.

Anyone have any personal experience with someone there?

Over on dvinfo.net you may find Chris Soucy who I believe is a Kiwi originally out of Canada. He would probably be able to plug you in to local resources there. As for an Epic going insane. Just rock up to a door in NZ and when it opens - "Hello Peter. I'm -----. My Epic has just laid down and won't get up again. Could I perchance borrow one of yours (35 pairs for the Hobbit?? give or take a few that I recall )." - Just kidding. I do not know Peter Jackson.
