Hello

I'm considering buying transport bag for whole camera. Something handy for transporting camera from location to another location. Just to be sure, camera is safe and quickly ready to shoot again. Without need to set up anything again. I like how Arri unit bags are made, they are almost indestructible. But camera is too big for it.

Our camera setup contains :
Red gemini+ battery
Lens + mattebox + 19mm rods
Teradek+ Wireless follow focus

dimensions 60x30x30 CM / 24x12x12 Inches

What's your experience? how do you transport your camera with all "on camera equipment" ?

Thank you for your opinion or experiences.

I just picked up one of The North Face's Base Camp Duffel bags. Really well made, sturdy carry handles, and lots of size options. I went with a Medium which fits my DSMC2 + 7" touch, Anton Bauer Cine 150, Teradek, Side Handle, and a LWZ + matte box with a little room to spare. (camera length of 22")

It's not padded, but the Ballistic Nylon it's made of is super rugged, and one of the main reasons I went this route, it's completely rainproof (including the zipper)

EDIT: (oh and the lifetime workmanship warranty is a nice bonus)

I use a Cinebag, but my rig is 10 inches in height and the bag is only 9.5" deep so the top doesn't close nicely. This would be a great bag if it was about 2 inches deeper. It has many compartments. I started with an older version of the Portabrace PC-3, but it was a real beast. The Portabrace website has a nice feature that lets you put in your specs and it gives you options.
