  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Transformers 3 Discussion

don't watch his films! i think that is the only way to get him to stop making them... but plenty do. so... the rest of us have to at least tolerate that alot of people do like Transformers, regardless of what it could, should, should have been..
 
Thing is that is the point some of us are making, the source material had gold he and others have chosen to ignore it toss it out or change it beyond recognition. Even if you have the best script once it gets into their hands it could turn into the smelliest of well...

Well if your kids like them, then Bay is obviously doing something right.

It doesn't matter the age of the customer, all that matters is he's selling a ticket to them, or the parents, so they can enjoy his movies. And im sure kids love the Transformer movies just like all of us loved bad movies as children.

It comes down to, as long as those movies are making over 400 million the first week, they are going to keep being made and rightfully so. If I was in charge of a big studio, and I had to give some guy 250,000,000 dollars to make a movie that I thought was going to be silly and shallow and not interesting, but I knew it would probably make over a billion in the box office, I would definitely do it. And for the people who say they wouldn't, you're lying.
 
It always surprises me how people go into a Michael Bay movie knowing that it is a turd, then come out of it and do one of two things:

1 - Complain that it smelled.

OR

2 - Say that Michael Bay should be given at least some respect because he is the best turd polisher around.

After ever Micahel Bay movie I have ever seen, I can clearly say I do both. It is cinematic masochism in its truest sense :)

Screw it, ill go see it tomorrow. Afterwards i'll have to shower for 3 hrs, but I guess that's just the way thing are... I mean, he must love us, right? Why else would he go through so much blood, sweat and steel to inflict such pain on us?

Mark my words. Bay will someday get a lifetime achievement award from the Academy...

This is the part that so many seem to miss. As long as people buy tickets, why would any director stop doing what he's doing?

I haven't seen Transformers 2, and I sure as hell will not see this one.......problem solved.
