I have just added Red flash cards to my set up for hand held and crane shots. I put the card in my trusty USB card reader and started to copy two shots. My G5 says this will take two hours. (6.5 Gb of data)

There must be faster options for reading these cards. What are folks using?

I am copying to the mirror FW 800 system that I use for archive. I then transfer the shots to a video raid for editing. The edit system is based on an 8 core Mac Pro G5. I only mentioned that in case Mac compatibility is relevant.
