Transcoding time using MetaFuze with VMware Fusion

Hi everyone,

For my first post here, I'd like to know if anybody have ever used MetaFuze with Fusion because i found it particuliary fast to transcode r3d to DNXHD 36 compared to Redcine under a windows environment.
If it's the case, what about transcoding time with debayer on medium and resolution on half good with a Mac octocore 12 Gb ?

Apparently, the time ratio is 70:1 with MetaFuze 1.2...
Any improvements scheduled with the 1.3 ?

Yes, really big improvements.

Avid demoed the new MF at the RED event in Vegas during the NAB. It was still a work in progress but it was utilizing all 8 cores. It was running fast.

it is faster...and more stable.
