Transcoded to Final Finish workflow

Hi there, I'm new to this workflow, entirely, and have some questions on how to approach the finishing process.

We transcoded all the files to Apple Pro Res (HQ). The color space was not great and we went back and re-transcoded some footage with the RED Color and RED Gamma. Now we want to go back to the original 4K files, color them, finish our compositing and export HD files and SD files.

Does anyone have a workflow for this that I can follow?

If you want to do color grading, use Clipfinder.

Compositing ? Which app do you use ?

Thanks. Do I have to go back to the original R3D files to finish or can I go the HD REDCODE reference files, reconnect to them and finish my color correction there?

If you deliver proxies (fixed by Clipfinder) or native Quicktimes from L&T, Color will always use the original RED file. Actually "proxies" is a misnomer, since they are just a kind of links.
