  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Howdy folks!
I some friends that I shot a short film for and they are running FCP 4.5 on Panther. We've tried transcoding on my machine (RedCine on 8 core Tiger) to a couple of different codecs, but it's not working on their system. Our latest attempt was DVCPro HD that would play on their machine in QT but would give a general error in FCP.

Any suggestions?
 
DVCPro HD should work. Did you use 'legal' dimensions for it?
As far as I remember, 4.5 was the first to support DVCPro HD natively. Your best bet anyway, since JPEG ain't RT in any useful dimension…
